Free.
Generous defaults. Honest limits.
Design data models, generate realistic multi-table datasets, and export to your database - at zero cost. Up to 1,000,000 rows per dataset, 200 MB per download, 5 GB of stored datasets per account. We are being frugal with hosting because every byte costs money; if there is enough demand to support raising the limits, we will.

Frequently Asked Questions
What's the catch?
No catch. The bills are real, so we set the per-account defaults to something we can absorb: up to 1,000,000 rows per table, 1,000,000 rows per dataset, a 200 MB cap on the generated download, and 5 GB of stored datasets per account. A typical 15-column table generates 200,000 rows in about 12 seconds. If you need more, tell us; when there is enough demand to support it, we will lift the ceilings.
Is SynthForge IO really free?
Yes. No sign-up fees, no credit card, no trial timer, no per-feature paywall. Every field type, every export format, AI-assisted schema design, multi-table foreign-key integrity, and the ML training-dataset templates are included at zero cost. The only constraints are the per-account defaults that exist so we can keep the service running for everyone.
What are the actual limits?
Per table: up to 1,000,000 rows. Per dataset: 1,000,000 rows across every table combined. There is also a 200 MB cap on the generated download, and on wide, text-heavy tables that is the one you meet first: 25 columns including free text reaches 200 MB at roughly 575,000 rows. For speed, a typical 15-column table generates 200,000 rows in about 12 seconds, and a 25-column table generates 500,000 rows in about 40 seconds. ML training datasets are a separate surface and go up to 10,000,000 rows. Per-account storage: 5 GB of stored datasets and ML datasets. Per-account rate limits on AI schema calls and on generation throughput exist to protect the shared service. No row cap on schema design, no feature gating.
I'm hitting the limits. What can I do?
Tell us. We tune the defaults based on actual usage, and if there is enough demand to support raising them, we will.
Where does my data go?
Generation runs on our hosted cloud service. Generated datasets are stored encrypted for roughly 24 hours so you can download them, then automatically deleted.
How does SynthForge IO compare to paid synthetic data tools?
Mockaroo's free tier caps at 1,000 rows per file and 200 API requests per day. Tonic.ai Structural is contract-sales only; Tonic Fabricate Free has $10 of monthly credits. NVIDIA NeMo (formerly Gretel) ships with NVIDIA AI Enterprise. SynthForge gives you 1,000,000 rows per dataset in well under a minute, 7 SQL dialect exports, 152 field types, AI schema design, and multi-table foreign-key integrity at $0. See the comparison pages for detail.
